Teen Killer Weeps as Judge Seals Fate for Movie Night Murder

A Florida judge has locked up Thomas Stein, sentencing him to life in prison plus 45 years for the murder of 15-year-old Kayla Rincon-Miller. Kayla was shot and killed along a Cape Coral street during an attempted robbery in 2024. Stein's trial featured a massive twist when his co-defendant, Christopher Horne Jr., took the stand to identify him as the shooter.  During the emotional sentencing, a crying Stein apologized and begged the judge to hug his mother one last time before being taken away. The judge denied the request and handed down the maximum penalty.
