Masterful Cross Examination of Fast-Talking Killer Charlie Adelson (The Maestro gets schooled)

Charles Adelson testimony lasted almost two days in his murder-for-hire trial. Prosecutor- Georgia Cappleman; Defense attorney- Daniel Rashbaum Witness - Charles Adelson Dan Markel was murdered in July of 2014. It took investigators almost two years to follow the evidence and to identify the suspects. By 2016, there were two suspects who carried out the hit - Luis Rivera and shooter Sigfredo Garcia. Luis was in federal prison on unrelated charges. Investigators determined that the murder was connected to Dan Markel's divorce, and suspected that one or more people in his ex-wife's family ordered the hit. So the FBI, together with the Tallahassee Police Department, conducted an operation - a "Bump" - to get the "roaches" to talk. Since then, Katherine Magbanua and, more recently, Charles Adelson, have been charged. No charges have been filed against Donna Adelson, although she remains a suspect, or against Dan's ex, Wendi Adelson, who also was named a suspect in a Court Filing by the prosecution. Katherine Magbanua was convicted last year.
