Cann River is gateway to East Gippsland's national parks, mini driving tour

Located almost half way between Sydney and Melbourne is the town of Cann River. Originally the town was 9km away however it moved to it's current location in 1928. In he 1950s the town enjoyed a boom from a strong timber industry. While those days are now behind, the town acts as an imprtant gateway to attractions such as Point Hicks (where Captain Cook discovered Australia on his ship the Endeavour in 1770), also the Bemm River, Lind National Park and Croajingolong National Park. _____ I acknowledge the "Kurnai" and "Bidawal" people who are the traditional custodians of the land that this video was filmed on.
