Bridgetown Ceremony 2 2026

The Barbados Police Service, in partnership with the King’s Trust International Team Programme, proudly hosted the Team Bridgetown Celebrations Ceremony under the theme “Racing to Success” on Thursday, May 21st, 2026 at Solidarity House, Harmony Hall, St. Michael. The 12-week developmental programme was designed to empower young adults between the ages of 16 and 25 by providing valuable life skills, personal development opportunities and practical experiences to assist in their future growth and success. Throughout the programme, participants were exposed to teamwork exercises, skills workshops, community activities, outdoor camping, hiking, fundraising initiatives, networking opportunities, CV writing, project planning, ongoing support and work placement experiences. The celebration ceremony featured inspiring remarks, participant highlights, a visual presentation showcasing memorable moments throughout the programme, the presentation of certificates and special awards, as well as a touching steel pan tribute performance by participant Kayra Bowen alongside guest Kalissa Cumberbatch. Featured Speaker Mr. Taahir Bulbulia, Youth and Development Officer, encouraged participants to continue striving for excellence and making positive contributions within their communities. The Barbados Police Service extends sincere congratulations to all participants for their commitment, growth and achievements throughout the programme and wishes them continued success in their future endeavours.
