TORTA CINNAMON ROLL | Torta de Canela

Cinnamon cake ↳ Recipe For a 8 inch square mold Cake Ingredients • 220 g Unsalted butter (1 cup) • 200 g Sugar (1 cup) • Vanilla • 200 g Eggs (4 u.) • 200 g All-purpose flour (1 ½ cups) • 8 g Baking powder (2 tsp) • 80 ml Milk (1/3 cup) • 50 g Sugar (1/4 cup) • 6 g Cinnamon (2 tsp) Glaze Ingredients • 60 g Cream cheese (1/2 cup) • 15 g Unsalted butter (1 tbsp) • 110 g Icing sugar (1 cup) • Milk • Vanilla Instructions 1. In a large bowl or stand mixer bowl, combine butter, sugar, and vanilla. 2. Beat for 5 minutes at medium speed. 3. Add eggs one at a time. Beat until incorporated. 4. Add half the flour and baking powder. 5. Add the milk and the rest of the flour and do not beat excessively. Just until you see no more traces of flour. 6. Mix sugar and cinnamon. 7. In a 20 cm mold, add half of the cake mixture. 8. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture, mix briefly with a wooden stick. 9. Add the rest of the cake mixture and then the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Integrate again with the wooden stick. 10. Bake at 150°C for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. 11. Wait 10 minutes and unmold. 12. For the glaze, beat the cream cheese and butter briefly, add the icing sugar and vanilla. Add milk if necessary. 13. Let cake cool completely before pouring icing on top. 14. Serve and enjoy.
