Buses in Fylde / Blackpool | May 2026

A video showing buses in The Fylde [Blackpool], recorded in May 2026. This video was recorded in the Fylde area in north-west England, encompassing Fleetwood, Cleveleys, Poulton-le-Fylde, St. Anne's, Lytham and Blackpool. It has been two years since I last visited the area [   • Blackpool [Fylde] Buses | June 2024  ], and there have been a few changes to the bus network in that time. Blackpool Transport still provide the vast majority of services in the region using a variety of Enviro 400 City and Enviro 200 MMC buses. A number of bus routes have been altered since 2024, such as route 5 extended to Fleetwood, route 7 extended to Lytham and route 11B now operating as route 10. Archway Travel now operate some of the tendered routes in the region, providing services to Fleetwood, St. Anne's, Blackpool and Preston. These services were previously operated by Blackpool Transport and Preston Bus. Transpora route 24 has been cut back from Fleetwood to Cleveleys (with Blackpool Transport route 5 extended to Fleetwood to cover this loss). Finally, Stagecoach still provide long distance services to / from Blackpool. A former Dublin Bus Enviro 500 (VT 12), now with Redline, also makes an appearance in this video.
