How to make Creton (creton maison) in a Slow Cooker, French Canadian meat spread.

This my version of the French Canadian meat spread, Creton, It is very easy to make, and it is delicious. This is my first time making it and it came out amazing, I will be making this again for sure. Creton, Or Cretons, Or Creton Maison, is a French Canadian meat spread that is made out of ground pork. Normally eaten cold for breakfast, spread on toast, or to make sandwiches for lunch. Traditionally made on the stovetop but I did it in the slow cooker and it is delicious. Ingredients 2 pounds (1kg) ground pork 2 tablespoons rendered bacon fat (optional) 1 cup milk 1 medium onion, minced 4 cloves of garlic, minced 2 tablespoon Soy Sauce 1 tablespoon salt 1/2 cup bread crumbs Directions Preheat slow cooker Add the ground pork, soy sauce, salt, onion, garlic, bacon fat, and milk to the slow cooker. Mix everything together, put the lid on the slow cooker, cook for 1.5 hours. After 1.5 hours, add the bread crumbs, mix them in. Cook for another 30 minutes. When the 30 minutes are up, blend the mixture together with a stick blender, till well mixed. This is not intended to be super smooth spread, but no big chunks of meat either. Let the mixture cool, add to storage containers, and put it in the fridge. This is normally eaten cold, but it tasted very good hot as well. No idea how long this will last in the fridge, but it can be frozen if it is not going to be eaten within a reasonable time.
