TVS-SEPTA Broad Street Line: Fairmount Station at Peak Hour
Fairmount Station is a local station on Philadelphia's Broad Street Subway and the Broad-Ridge Spur Branch. The Ridge Spur has its own platform on a lower level, only connected to the Uptown Broad St Local platform, though a closed passageway to the Downtown platform does exist. It's a rather beautiful station in a beautiful section of the city, and if you're around. Try G. Steaks on the corner right at the top of the stairway for the Uptown platform. There's an old hotel across the street getting gentrified into a hotel. Temple University is nearby, though the Cecil B. Moore station is much closer. (Actually right under the campus.)
