I'm spending the week at Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia and my first stop is the costume department! Coming here is a dream come true, a trip I've wanted to make for over twenty years. I first learned about Colonial Williamsburg as a teenager working at Pioneer Village in Toronto. At the time this was the grandest version of a living history museum on the continent.
