Is FRANK PEPE's Worth The Hype? 100 Year Old Pizza ICON Review!

Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana in New Haven, Connecticut is perhaps one of the most famous pizza shops in America. It also happens to be one of the best pizzas in America, at least according to many critics and lists. It frequently makes lists of top 100 pizzas in the USA, and frequently places top 10, if not top 1! But is Frank Pepe good or is Frank Pepe overrated? We drove all the way to Orange, CT for Quiznos, lol yes, Quiznos. The trip wound up taking significantly longer than expected due to traffic due to an accident of sorts. Rather than drive back while tired that night, I decided to stay a night in the area and review Frank Pepe's on the way home. I tried the famous Frank Pepe coal-fired pizza to see if it lived up to the hype, and it certainly was a great experience! Had I had more time, I would have reviewed both Frank Pepe's and Sally's Apizza. The Frank Pepe's vs Sally's Apizza debate is one that has raged for almost a century, and will likely rage for a century more! Also throw in Modern Apizza in New Haven, which we also reviewed on this channel, and everyone has an opinion! But Frank Pepe's is the original and the one that most frequently is touted as the best.
