*CHAOS* broken down train and Passenger's on the track causes major ECML disruption

A class 91 broke down outside at about 3:30pm which was causing disruption to trains. I went to biggleswade to film the disruption and an Azuma stopped at biggleswade as it was held at a red signal, the driver spoke to me and we were Under the impression that Thier was a signal fault as the signal after the one that was holding uo the AZUMA was green. the driver then got off the phone and said that the passengers on the broken down train were evacuated onto the train tracks so there were loads of people walking on the train tracks meaning the Line was completely blocked and trains had to be diverted via Hertford north and were delayed by an hour or so. #train #ecml #trainspotting #railway #distruption #chaos #delays #failure #brokendown
