DIY Fly Fishing the Tuolumne River, Part 1: Main Stem, South and Middle Forks.

For miles and miles of easily accessible (and not so easily accessible if you want to do some hiking) PUBLIC water, most with easy wading loaded with good sized, healthy eating fish it's hard to beat these reaches of the Tuolumne River. These reaches are also within easy access of and from Yosemite National Park. In this video I tried to give you everything you need to get started on exploring them, or just enjoying them for a day or two including a few access points, trails to check out, and what to expect. The rest is up to you. At the end is the DIY Fly Fishing Ranking System I developed applied to these reaches and it includes information about the closest towns, fly shops, lodging options, where you can get a drink, etc. As always, thanks for watching and I hope you find it helpful or at least entertaining. And please let me know if you have any questions. Love, A Bush in the Woods
