Is Chow Kit the best place to find a granite Lesung Batu (Pestle & Mortar) Walking Kuala Lumpur

My mission was simple; buy a traditional hand made granite pestle and mortar - a lesung batu - a traditional Malaysian kitchen ware in Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur. I was grinding coffee beans in a porcelain bowl with a drinking glass and read that it could cause glass to splinter and therefore make its way into my beverage. What I didn’t count on was the porcelain bowl chipping as I found out when I was washing it. I did some research and found some online shops but couldn’t really come to any conclusion as to what would be suitable as some might be made of inferior material - I didn’t know - I didn’t want to risk it My sister suggested trying shops around Chow Kit as she bought hers there. I found a shop on Google and also suggested was to try the shops surround Chow Kit market. I walked around looking for kitchenware shops and was finally directed to a street which had what I was looking for but were they suitable? Did they have any traditional hard carved lesung batu? Or were they only machined ones?
