Aprobar no es aprender | MARÍA DEL CIELO RUIZ LÓPEZ | TEDxUniversidadMichoacana
Human development is considered one of the main pillars of education. For this reason, strategies, content, and paradigms have been created that serve as points of reference for innovation in the field. However, after implementing these concepts in the new educational model, we have found that the results fall short of the proposed expectations. It is therefore necessary to understand how this new teaching model proposes our development based on individual capacities and how the conception of learning, by making our subjects more experiential, has impacted the lives of our students. This could open the door to a new conception of human development more accessible to our social contexts. She is a young woman enthusiastic and passionate about what she does. Throughout her life, she has been involved in various prosocial activities; she participated in animal protection foundations such as UNIDOGS, in associations supporting marginalized communities, and in projects to preserve the cultural and historical heritage of her municipality: Irimbo, Michoacán. She has also participated in an electoral candidacy as a councilor and youth affairs officer. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
