Cómo encontrar el gusto por la lectura | Regina Flores Ornelas | TEDxInstitutoMéxicodeBC

In this talk, I'll share how I discovered the wonderful world of books. My name is Regina Flores Ornelas, and I love to read, sing, listen to music, cook, and play volleyball. I'm the oldest of my three siblings, so another thing I do in my free time is spend time with my family. We're very close. My name is Regina Flores Ornelas, and I was born on March 8, 2005, in Tijuana. From a very young age, I've been interested in art in all its forms: dance, music, literature, sculpture, and painting. My dad raised me for the first five of my ten years, since my mom worked long hours on call as an anesthesiologist, and my dad is a radiologist. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up, but I'll most likely focus on something related to literature, law, or communications. I can proudly say that in recent years I've been very active in various literary events, such as speech and essay contests. Last year, I also participated in a United Nations event, representing Ethiopia, where I presented on the topic of water stress. I really enjoy everything related to reading and writing; it comes very easily to me and brings me feelings of happiness and freedom. I feel like I can be myself. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
