Dr Ntuli A. Kapologwe, Family Medicine Symposium
Today, I had the opportunity to deliver a keynote presentation to family health and medical professionals attending the Family Medicine Symposium, held under the theme “From Episodic to Longitudinal Care: Advancing Universal Health Coverage through the 5Cs of Primary Care.” My presentation explored the evolution and genesis of primary health care, highlighting the relationship between primary care and primary health care, and emphasizing the critical role of family medicine in delivering comprehensive, continuous, and person-centred longitudinal care. The ECSA Health Community remains firmly committed to advancing family medicine through the ECSA College of Family Physicians and its Primary Health Care Cluster, as part of our broader efforts to strengthen health systems and accelerate progress toward universal health coverage.
