Webinar: Seed System Security in Bauchi State, Nigeria
This video is a recording of a webinar which took place in May 2026. The webinar presents the findings and derived recommendations from a SSSA conducted in 2025 in Nigeria. Across 2025, Oxfam, ICRISAT and SeedSystem collaborated with a wide array of local partners to conduct a Seed System Security Assessment (SSSA) in Ningi and Shira Local Government Areas of Bauchi State in Nigeria. The SSSA examines the performance of seed systems in these areas, exploring current challenges impacting seed security. The SSSA makes clear conclusions and recommendations to overcome chronic seed system weaknesses.
