এই রবীন্দ্রনাথকে চেনেন?কথাব্রজ...সঙ্গে শশাঙ্ক Rabindranath Tagore grew up with the Upanishads by his side. He received knowledge of Brahman from his father, Maharshi Debendranath Tagore. He himself admitted to his practice of Brahma worship. Later in life, the more he came to understand Brahma, the more he felt that Brahma was vast—almost like father. Who is bigger than him, a hugely figure.He felt he couldn't share everything openly with Him, and so he searched for the existence of God within his inner self. He used Consciousness as a canvas—upon which he painted the image of a friend or companion with whom one could speak freely, share sorrows, express grievances, and even sulk. This vanishes the difference from the Vaishnavite philosophy. In truth, he sought Brahman but in a uniquely personal way—he wished to befriend Him. As he aged, the poet increasingly embraced humanity. His compassion transcended the boundaries of nation, extended beyond Earth, and reached into the universe. He sought liberation through service to mankind. He regarded death as the flip side of life because it is inevitable. He acknowledged that he would be repeatedly invited into this play of life and death, and he would have to come—he accepted that.All his literary works, especially his songs, serve as a reminder of that very truth.Yet he never abandoned the core philosophy of the Upanishads. He may have strayed slightly at times, but he never truly let it go.
