Bo Peep - Spring Thermal Fun - Paragliding - 21/03/26

Had a blast down at the lovely Bo Peep site in East Sussex on Saturday. I got there early to try and catch some early thermal action, and ended up launching at the perfect time and basically had the sky to myself for the first hour, flying along to Firle Beacon and back, playing in the thermals. I then came in and did a cautious top landing (I could see 30+ pilots waiting due to the strong gusts), had a nice landing, updated the pilots with my 'wind dummy' findings and then about 45 minutes later the gusts died down nicely and it was a full on epic day of flying for everyone. Had alot of fun and in the end clocked up 6 flights and about 2 1/2 to 3 hours of airtime. Only had to bottom land once, after I launched into a dip in the thermal cycles, but had alot of fun and looking forwards to trying to improve my thermalling and doing some further XC this year :)
