Wales Paragliding Adventures - Day 1 - Rhossili - 29/06/26

Here is the first in a series of 5 videos of my Wales Paragliding Adventures - This video is Day 1 at Rhossili - What a beautiful and stunning place this is to fly. After a 5 1/2 hour drive to reach the site on Day 1, I was happy to see Paragliders in the sky and the weather ended up prefect for an afternoon of soaring Rhossili Bay and a small part of the Cliffs. There were a few light thermals about which helped mix up the enjoyment of the beautiful scenery. I ended up doing 3 flights on Day 1 at Rhossili Bay, around 3 1/2 hours of flying, doing 3 launches, 1 top landing at the very top launch point, and 2 landings on the 'Pimple' or what I would describe as the shoulder. I met some very welcoming and friendly local pilots from the SWWSC, which I joined before travelling across, including Jon and his son Tom, who I have no doubt will be a future sky god! A very fun day of flying, before I then packed up and headed off to my campsite for the week at the wonderful Cwmdu Campsite (Highly recommend - Very friendly, great facilities and great location). The next video will be Day 2 (A rather sweaty hike up the back of Magic Mountain (Pen Cerrig Calch) at 6am the following morning :)
