University of Wyoming First Annual Fox Park Trip
Footage provided with permission - Courtesy of Greg Scholl Video https://www.gregschollvideo.com The footage is from the DVD Union Pacific Steam Classics Volume 2, which has some more of the most incredible shots of Locomotive 535 on a separate trip on September 15th, 1957. Some History on the Annual Fox Park Train: The University had also conducted a trip with 535 before on August 13th, 1955. This was the first official Fox Park Train trip held on July 7th, 1956. In the following year, the trip would take place July 6th, 1957. There is evidence that 535 also pulled the Annual Fox Park Trip on July 11th, 1959, but this is disputed due to there being no photos, or follow up news. The locomotive had also been retired four months prior. The trip also had trouble selling most of the tickets.
