Union Pacific 535 Laramie Fan Trip 1956

The Union Pacific Segment on Otto Perry's 83rd reel features Locomotive 535 pulling a Rocky Mountain Railroad Club excursion between Laramie Wyoming and North Gate Colorado on August 4th, 1956.Other scenes include Big Boy Number 4013, a few UP F Units, including an F Unit Double heading with a Challenger, and a rare Veranda Gas Turbine, all shot by Otto Perry. Union Pacific 535 would only pull two more passenger trains after this trip. 535 departs Laramie, makes a brief stop in Centennial for lunch, then performs two runbys at the first Albany Loop and Lake Owen. The train chugs all the way to North Gate, then wyes so the baggage car is still first. 535 proceeds to practically coast all the way back to Laramie, until being blocked by cattle.
