Jhariah’s “Beginner’s Guide” | A Deep Dive

After a successful debut album and EP, Jhariah was working towards their next great album. However, while experimenting with some singles, a new project started to come together. A mix of old songs and new, of remixes and singles, that started to form one cohesive picture. The end result was 'A Beginner's Guide to Faking Your Death', and it became one of his most famous releases. With some solid music and a cohesive plotline, I knew while listening that it would make the perfect subject for a new video. But I didn't know just how deep the rabbit hole would take me... This was a ton of fun to work on, and I owe it to the script editing of kaleidocat, as well as the expert knowledge of jhariahjournal and bennward! And, of course, make sure to give the original album a listen as well. This year marked the release of TRUST CEREMONY, Jhariah's new LP, so if you're a fan, add that to your list as well! Also, if you're wondering where some of the backgrounds came from here, I got them from the Morphyre visualizer! Some of the aesthetics in Jhariah's music videos reminded me of the old Windows Media Player visualizer, and through some digging, I found a more advanced visualizer software used for clubs!
