Major Combine Repairs in the Heat of Harvest! Good ol' 70 Series combine, Got to love it!

It’s harvest season, which means the service calls don’t stop. In this video I cover a full round of combine repairs, diagnostics, and field fixes: Update on the John Deere S790 getting a complete cleaning shoe rebuild in the shop Service call on an S780 throwing emissions codes → diagnosed a bad aftertreatment temp module, replaced it, and ran a regen John Deere 9770 with a bad header lift control valve that left the header stuck on the ground S680 with a grain tank cover and fountain auger fold problem S7800 with spreader speed issues → parts ordered and later replaced with new speed control valves Back to the shop to finish the S790 and run it in the field — smooth as butter Emergency service call on an S670 with a sheared unloading auger → full overhaul done in under 5 hours, maybe a new personal record Multiple days, nonstop breakdowns, and a race against time to keep harvest rolling.
