Flipping Through Some Japanese PC Engine Mags | CGQ+

A couple of weeks ago I won an eBay auction for 8 issues of "Gekkan PC Engine", or "PC Engine Monthly" from April-November of 1992. For me, these are really exciting to check out because while we did get magazines like Turbo Play, Turbo Force, and Duo World here in North America, the system just wasn't the market force here that it was in Japan, and the fact that these issues are well over 100 pages long is a testament to that. I posted some pics on Twitter and a few people hoped that I would do a read-through with one. As we all know, I don't speak or read Japanese, so this isn't really a proper "read-through", and I also didn't do more than minimal research or record any gameplay footage, so that's why this video is over here instead of on the main channel. Quite a few exciting (for me) games are featured in the two issues that we looked at, so even with the language barrier I think these were a lot of fun to look at.
