Fina IDP Camp, Jabel Marra
Tens of thousands fled El Fasher, the epicenter of recent violence in North Darfur, prompting mass movements of civilians into the mountains of Fina IDP camp, Jabel Marra in South Darfur. Over 25,000 people are sheltering, including 15,000 children, and nearly 200 are separated or completely unaccompanied. They travelled to this camp seeking safety and the hope of a better life, only to find another nightmare. Makeshift shelters are everywhere. With open defecation all over the camp and limited access to safe water, the threat of cholera is real. World Vision Sudan is on the ground, providing life-saving food assistance, blankets, plastic mats, dignity kits, and protection services to unaccompanied children. #SudanCrisis #3YearsOn
