Children Voices from Sudan

A coordinated child-focused humanitarian action is urgently needed for the survival and well-being of children, especially in fragile contexts like Sudan. Children must remain at the centre of humanitarian action and that is why the testimonies from Sudanese children were shared at the ECOSOC Humanitarian Affairs Segment (HAS) 2025 side-event ‘A child-focused Humanitarian Reset – why and how?’, co-hosted by World Vision. ECOSOC HAS is one of the world’s leading platforms for humanitarian dialogue. Held annually in Geneva, it brings together Member States, the United Nations system, humanitarian partners, development actors and the private sector to discuss current and emerging humanitarian challenges and priority themes and share experiences and lessons learned.
