(AFTER) New Caltrans Traffic Lights & Re-Configured Intersection (Friars Rd & I-15 North)

This AFTER video was filmed February 25, 2026. Here is my BEFORE video from March 3, 2025 of what this view looked like before the changes.    • (BEFORE) Older Caltrans Traffic Lights At ...   This intersection is a little bit safer and more bike-friendly because now there is a signal for bikers to use and a button too to activate the signal to green while everyone else has to wait. Also, the freeway off ramp traffic you see merging onto Friars Road now has traffic signals too for them which also makes things safer because before that, they would merge onto Friars Road without stopping with the old loop configuration. So definitely an improvement, but still not perfect, especially on the other side of the street where bikers still have to worry about merging freeway off ramp traffic. This was money well spent in my opinion.
