Do buses go faster when they drive the opposite direction on 1-way streets? There is surprising little published on these contraflow bus lanes, so I’ve collected fresh data from various routes to try to get to the bottom of this. In the process, I ended up creating the largest study to date on contraflow bus lanes. This video goes through what I found.
