But since their son was born, they've been wondering whether tap water is suitable for preparing baby formula. SOFT WASHERS IN LABORATORY AND PRACTICAL TESTS The two are interested in buying a water carbonator. How much can you save? Does homemade sparkling water taste as good as store-bought? Franzi and Pascal put sparkling water makers from Brita, SodaStream, and Aarke to the test. We also take the three makers to the lab to find out how much carbonation they produce. What are the differences between the cheaper and more expensive models? Find out in the video. SAVE MONEY BY MAKING YOUR OWN SPARKLING WATER? Manufacturers promise up to 60 liters per cartridge. Is that true? With the cheaper maker, filled with refill cartridges, a liter costs 9 cents, but it's not very fizzy. With the more expensive one, a liter costs 10 cents. With the market leader, it's 15 cents, because the water was highly carbonated, but also due to the slightly more expensive special cartridge. So, you can save a considerable amount of money with homemade sparkling water compared to buying bottled mineral water.
