Railfanning the CSX and Indiana Railroad by Indianapolis Union Station Indianapolis, IN 12/06/25

While there were other things I wanted to see in Indianapolis, I spent some time on top of the Union Station garage which provides a good view of the CSX Terminal sub and the Louisville secondary which turns into the Louisville and Indiana. I was able to see several including a very late Westbound Amtrak Cardinal, the Indiana Railroad SAAVT (Senate yard to Avon yard transfer) and a few CSX freights. It was quite the busy day with the Big Ten title game between Indiana and Ohio State at Lucas Oil and Louisville and Indiana basketball at the Fieldhouse.
