In this Philippines Travel vlog we visit Samar and try this wild new filipino tourist attraction, torpedo boat rides! These tippy boats were once used for the illegal logging industry in the Philippines. About a decade ago, the idea was presented to the local community to use them for tourism instead, it would be better for the environment, and more lucrative. Now you can jump in one of these water rockets, get soaked, narrowly miss rocks, and fly through rapids. It's quite a ride!
