This third episode of "Life, Uncharted" is a trip to Malapascua Island in the Philippines to photograph the mesmerizing Pelagic Thresher Shark (Alopias pelagicus). Malapascua is the only spot in the world where this shark can be encountered daily, which is why it is flocked by divers from around the world. "Island of the Shark" examines the delicate and symbiotic relationship between a shark and an island community. This season-ender takes me back to where I first photographed a shark, reigniting a fascination that continues to burn brightly within. --- "Life, Uncharted" is an adventure documentary series that follows filmmaker, photographer, and National Geographic explorer Noel Guevara as he explores and captures the beauty of our natural world.
