Make Churros Like a Pro... No Special Skills Needed!

Make churros like a pro — no special skills needed! Warm, crispy, golden churros with a rich homemade chocolate sauce, all from simple everyday ingredients. ❤️ Hello, friends, and welcome back to my kitchen! Today I'm showing you just how easy it is to make café-quality churros right at home. No fancy equipment, no hard-to-find ingredients — just a few simple staples, a little patience, and you'll have a batch of warm, crispy churros with the most irresistible chocolate sauce for dipping. 🥰 These are so much fun to make, and they're always a hit with family and friends. Once you see how simple the dough comes together, you'll want to make them again and again! 🍫 WHAT YOU'LL NEED 🍫 FOR THE CHURROS: 1 glass of water Sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt Butter 1 cup flour + 2 tablespoons 2 eggs About 1/2 litre vegetable oil, for frying FOR THE CHOCOLATE SAUCE: Just under 1 teaspoon cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water About 50 g (2 oz) dark chocolate (70% recommended) A little sugar 1/2 cup milk 👩‍🍳 HOW TO MAKE THEM 👩‍🍳 Dissolve sugar and salt in water, add butter, and heat until just about to boil. Add the flour and stir quickly until the dough pulls away and forms a smooth ball. Let the dough cool for 5 minutes (this keeps the eggs from curdling). Beat one egg and add slowly; crack the second straight in. Mix until smooth, shiny, and thick enough to hold its shape. Cover and chill the dough (overnight is even better!). For the sauce: melt chocolate with sugar and milk over low heat, then stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook until thick and creamy. Pipe the dough using a star tip (or a bag with a snipped corner). Fry in oil just below medium heat, about 2 minutes per side, until golden and crispy. Drain, plate, and serve with that gorgeous chocolate sauce. 💛 KAREN'S TIPS 💛 Let the dough cool before adding eggs — it makes all the difference. Chilling the dough (even overnight) gives you the best churros. Watch the color, not the clock, when frying. A French star tip gives those beautiful ridges — a small touch that goes a long way. Always be careful with hot oil! 📌 TELL ME IN THE COMMENTS: What country are you watching from? I love seeing where you all come from! What's your favorite thing to dip in chocolate?
