Responsive settling: Toddler in a bed
Children's Health Queensland's Ellen Barron Family Centre developed the Responsive Settling video series to promote the use of positive parenting techniques and support parents and carers to use responsive settling strategies in their own home. This video demonstrates an approach to settle a toddler to bed using a consistent bed-time routine. For times when settling doesn’t go well, the video demonstrates how persistence and consistency with a safe parenting response pays off.
