Responsive settling: Hands on settling
Children's Health Queensland's Ellen Barron Family Centre developed the Responsive Settling video series to promote the use of positive parenting techniques and support parents and carers to use responsive settling strategies in their own home. This video demonstrates parents supporting their baby to go to sleep while using a hand’s on approach. Over time this will assist their baby to go to sleep independently. Parents will see that they are able to respond to their baby as often as they need, while giving a baby the opportunity to settle to sleep.
