Calif. Zephyr in Ft. Morgan on 14JULY2026

This California Zephyr #5 made its station stop in Fort Morgan at 0606 MDT (20 min. late). The power was from P42s #188 & #146. They brought the 9-car train to a stop with the sightseer/lounge to the platform ramp. There was no passenger activity today. After a brief check, the departure order was given and on a clear signal working into a restricted speed zone, the Zephyr rolled west toward Union Station in Denver. There were two Phase VII sleepers and the combo coach/baggage bringing up the markers was also a Phase VII car. The leading sleeper was "Tennessee". I did not catch the name on the trailing sleeper.
