Calif. Zephyr in Ft. Morgan on 05JULY2026
Today's California Zephyr #5 made its station stop in Fort Morgan at 0547 MDT (2 min. tardy). Ollie had P42s #135 & #45 bring the 9-car consist to a stop with car 8 (coach) at the station platform for 1 new patron. There were no detraining passengers today. With the station work completed, the departure cue was given. On a clear signal, Ollie ramped up the amps to the traction motors moving the Zephyr west toward its next stop at Denver's Union Station.
