Crime brutal: discussão por som alto termina em feminicídio e choca cidade mineira

Patrícia de Lourdes Pereira Gomes, a 63-year-old retired teacher from Lambari (MG), was murdered by her son, Paulo Sérgio Pereira, after an argument about loud music. Paulo, 28, had a history of assaulting his mother and involvement with drugs. During the argument, he attacked Patrícia in her home, committing the crime in the bathroom and covering her body with a blanket. The crime was discovered when the victim's son-in-law received a suspicious message from her cell phone, sent by Paulo. Suspecting something was amiss, the son-in-law found the house locked, but with the lights on and the TV at a high volume. He called the Military Police, who found Patrícia dead at the scene.
