Everything went Wrong... Again in Guatemala

We crossed into Guatemala on our motorcycle trip through America… and everything went wrong again. After months of traveling across North America and Mexico, this part of the journey was supposed to be simple. But between ongoing mechanical issues, getting sick on the road, and eventually crashing on a mountain highway, these two days quickly turned into some of the hardest we’ve experienced so far. In this episode, we leave Mexico after 11 unforgettable months and cross the border into Guatemala, continuing our long-distance motorcycle journey from the Arctic Ocean in Canada, all the way to Patagonia, Argentina. What should have been a short and manageable ride turned into a stressful and exhausting experience, as we tried to fix our bike, deal with breakdowns, and keep moving despite everything. This is the reality of overlanding and long-term travel: not every day is about freedom and beautiful landscapes.
