Do You Ever Slow Down? American Female Living in DaNang, Vietnam - Day In The Life

This question was asked on one of my recent videos. And the answer is yes! But...not today, lol. It is 8am on a Tuesday morning in Da Nang and I am out walking the alleyways past construction sites, checking on the USA versus Belgium World Cup game that kicked off at 7am here in central coastal Vietnam. I pop into a few sports bars along the way, the Shamrock and the Filling Station, to catch the score, then head down toward the beach where the early risers are finishing their swim before work. From there the day turns into a full loop around town. I run to a ladies bachata workshop, then head across the city still in my dance outfit to get my lashes done at Vansuri Lashes, where I have been going since 2019. I stop for a watermelon lychee juice and a Saigon black coffee at a tiny hidden coffee shop, wander the back alleyways where homes double as pharmacies and dinner stands, and pick up some SD cards and headphones at my go to electronics shop, meeting a new subscriber along the way. I also talk through something I have been sitting with, what I call the 'beneficiary paradox', noticing how patient and accommodating people are here and how that has pushed me to work on my own patience in return. The day wraps up with a stop at Miniso for a couple of power banks before heading home over the Dragon Bridge as the sun starts to set.
