Security and resilience in digital supply chains are indispensable requirements for the continuity and competitiveness of logistics organizations in the Industry 4.0 era. Cybersecurity of connected systems (Almeida; Barbosa, 2020) relies on advanced technical controls – next-generation firewalls, end-to-end encryption, Zero-Trust architecture – and human capabilities (Pereira, 2022), creating a first line of defense against persistent threats. Risk management, based on frameworks such as ISO 31000 and the ATT&CK model (Gonçalves; Silva, 2021), allows for mapping critical assets, prioritizing vulnerabilities, and monitoring incidents in real time (Rodrigues, 2023). This systemic approach feeds into the development of business continuity plans and DRPs that, by combining rigorous RPO/RTO, automated failover (Almeida; Viera, 2023), and regular testing (Santos; Gomes, 2021), ensure the maintenance of operations even in the face of attacks or infrastructure failures. The redundancy provided by multi-zone architectures, load balancing, and microservices (Carvalho, 2021) confers flexibility and scalability, fundamental for responding to demand peaks and changes in logistics routes. This flexibility, combined with the orchestration of business processes (Silva; Pereira, 2021), ensures rapid adaptation to external events, such as regulatory restrictions or health crises. Finally, regulatory compliance – LGPD, ISO 27001, ISO 28000 – and data protection practices (Almeida, 2020) require impact assessments, robust encryption, and continuous audits, creating a trustworthy environment for clients and partners. The integration of these elements forms a resilient ecosystem where technological security, risk governance, operational continuity, architectural redundancy, and legal compliance coexist synergistically. Thus, by aligning technical strategies with international standards and national legislation, digital supply chains not only avoid disruptions and financial losses, but also strengthen their reputation, meet the demands of increasingly privacy- and security-conscious customers, and remain able to innovate in a scenario of rapid digital transformations.
