The Hardest Part of Abstract Art Is Knowing When to Stop.
When is an artwork actually finished? This abstract landscape started out simply enough, but the more I worked on it, the harder it became to stop. Every new layer felt like it might be the one that finally brought the piece together... or the one that ruined it completely. In this video, I'm experimenting with collage, mark-making and intuitive decision-making while trying to answer a question every artist faces: how do you know when to stop. Thanks for watching and following along with my artistic experiments. I'm spending this year pushing my creativity, building confidence, and making as much art as possible before starting my Fine Art degree. #AbstractArt #AbstractLandscape #MixedMediaArt #CollageArt #SketchbookPractice #ContemporaryArt #ArtProcess #ArtistJourney
