Trains at Church Fenton XCR (Cross Country, Northern, Transpennine Express) 29/04/23

Welcome back to Church Fenton! Thanks to ‪@Kittentik‬ for helping me with Traksy and RTT in this video! This was one of our first ever locations featured on the channel and we are back for our second visit! Today we see services from Northern, Transpennine and Cross Country! We also get to see the Cross Country HST in the first couple of minutes. Church Fenton has always been a favourite station of mine, it has through lines with speeds up to 80mph and there are many passing trains and also freight (but none are seen here). The line between York and Church Fenton is being redone, with new sleepers, OLE (overhead line equipment) and also track work to bring the line speed up to 200kph or 125mph early next year.
