Nottingham to Matlock Trilogy

In this trio of videos we cover the Midland Mainline's efforts to forge north to Manchester via the arduous route of the limestone hills of Derbyshire. We take an EMR service from Nottingham to Matlock stopping along the way to ride the 9 mile branch to Wirksworth on the Ecclesbourne Valley Line. We also ride the entire length of the Peak Rail Line from Rowsley to Matlock. It's an absolute travesty that the line was lost but we cover what we can and we ride on some fantastic preserved traction.
