岩倉妙見神社（Iwakura Myoken Jinja shrine）・御祭神：天御中主神（Enshrined Diety：Primordial Deity of the Universe）

所在地は京都市左京区岩倉。宇宙根源神である天御中主神（アメノミナカヌシノカミ）、妙見菩薩を祀る。 岩倉妙見神社には隕石が祀られているとの言い伝えがあるが、木内鶴彦氏が主張する5世紀頃に隕石が落ちたとされる星田妙見宮のように、隕石が天御中主神や妙見菩薩と関連付けられることは多い。 It is located in Iwakura, Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City, and enshrines Amenonakanushi-no-Kami—the primordial deity of the universe—and Myoken Bosatsu. Legend holds that a meteorite is enshrined at Iwakura Myoken Shrine; indeed, meteorites are frequently associated with Amenonakanushi-no-Kami and Myoken Bosatsu, as seen at Hoshida Myoken-gu, where a meteorite is said to have fallen around the 5th century—a claim put forward by Mr. Tsuruhiko Kiuchi.
