Exploring The Abandoned Bone Crusher Of Shacklow Mill - Ashford In The Water - The Walk | EP 187

Hello everyone, and welcome out on another explore with myself and Phil. This time we are in the Derbyshire village of Ashford in the Water, and we're here to find a former bone crushing, turned timber mill, called Shacklow Mill. It's also sometimes referred to as Ashford Bobbin Mill, and was built in 1870, although local folklore dates the mill further back than that. We have a look around the amazing remains, before walking up the River Wye, to find a little known tunnel into Magpie Lead Mine.
