The Abandoned Care Home | Thousands of ££'s WORTH Left Behind | URBEX | Scotland

Have a look inside this modern Care Home which closed down in 2022 post covid. It is said to be partly getting demolished and new residential apartments to be built as well as 4 new houses. This place was huge to explore. It had 68 bedrooms in total, it even had its own little hair salon. Sadly everything has been left behind. Thousands of ££’s worth, between NHS beds and mattresses, wheel chairs and care equipment. There was even a cupboard full of patient files, which I think should be locked away. There was a couple of rooms stacked full of stock of care supplies & covid supplies. Residents have to wait a long time for beds and equipment, so it’s very sad to see. Especially with the shortage of the NHS and care supplies. It’s a shame it’s not been reused for people who really need it. The amount of Covid equipment left behind was crazy. I really hope when it’s ready for its new chapter that some of this can be saved and used for people who are in need.
