People gather along rivers, canals, and ponds across Thailand to float beautiful "Krathongs" – lotus-shaped rafts adorned with candles and incense – on the water. This stunning tradition is incredibly popular with tourists worldwide! The Wat Saket temple grounds, located in Bangkok's old city, were transformed into a dazzling wonderland with countless illuminations. It was a truly spectacular and vibrant scene, bustling with people and countless street food stalls! Honestly, I didn't know much about the event beforehand, but I was completely overwhelmed by the scale and beauty – it far exceeded all my expectations! Even late at night, I was able to climb up "The Golden Mount." The view from the top was absolutely breathtaking! You get a spectacular panorama of Bangkok's night skyline, the mesmerizing sea of lights from the festival below, and a full moon shining brightly above. It was truly an unforgettable sight!
