Everest Base Camp Full Trek with Ant Middleton

I had the great opportunity to take on the Everest Base Camp trek with Ant Middleton over a full 10 days. This is something I never thought I would do, but when the opportunity came up to do it with Ant, I knew I had to take it. I've always wanted to challenge myself, get an insight into his mindset, and hopefully learn something deeper about myself along the way. It was easily the hardest thing I have ever done, but also one of the greatest achievements of my life. From the long days trekking through the Himalayas, to the altitude, exhaustion, freezing conditions (-22 degrees), and even my eyesight starting to go right near the end with a burst blood vessel in my eye, this pushed me further than I expected. The Himalayas are honestly one of the most beautiful places in the world to trek, but what stood out just as much were the people. The locals are incredibly kind, humble and welcoming. Being out there really puts life into perspective. You realise how small a lot of your stresses back home really are when you are standing in a place that big, powerful and beautiful. I tried my best to record each day of the trek to give anyone thinking about doing Everest Base Camp a real insight into what it is actually like. The good moments, the hard moments, the scenery, the struggle and the mindset it takes to keep going. I will also be posting more footage on Instagram, including extra landscape and portrait clips from different parts of the trek.
